Challenger Baseball league is a National Little League Organization Baseball league for Physically and Mentally handicapped children / young adults from the ages of 5 to 22 years of age.
The whole purpose of Challenger baseball is to give these special children and young adults a chance to play the great American game of Baseball.
About 6 years ago a Organization was form to help finance this called " The Friends of Challenger Baseball". This committee has worked hard on fundraising for this league. So far the committee has raised enough money to build a brand new field and maintain it.
Even though we have done all of this, it takes more to keep it this way. We have started a yearly golf outing to help fund the league and help send our players to the yearly Sate Tournament which draws over 400 Players.
