{Save the date – 2012 State Tournament will be held July 20-22, 2012}

For all new players this is a must. Every year a state tournament is held in a different location and this coming year (2012) we will be traveling to Wheelersburg, OH. The tournament draws nearly 500 players every year from all over the state of Ohio. Most people travel to the tournament the night before because the tournament starts early Saturday morning.

Normally your child will play two games on Saturday and one game on Sunday. After games on Saturday there is a usually a dinner, dance or some other activity before the kids and parents go back to the hotel for relaxation and getting to know each other.

If it is at all possible to attend the State Tournament, please try to come.  When a family makes the trip for the first time, they never want to miss it again. You will meet wonderful children and caring families from all over Ohio.

Here is what you need to do:

• Let your coach know ASAP or contact us via email at bcchallengerbaseball@gmail.com and be sure to include your contact information, your child’s name and how many will be attending from your family.

Special thanks to The Ohio State Troopers Coalition who has sponsored this event for several years. Each child is presented with a medal at the end of the tournament by an Ohio State Trooper and without them the tournament would not be nearly as wonderful of an experience.
